Allana M. Benham is a contemporary figurative artist living and working in Montreal. Since 2003, she has co-directed Atelier de Brésoles with husband Eric Mannella. She recently published the first English translation of Dr. Paul Richer's book New Artistic Anatomy: Female Morphology. She has an MFA from the New York Academy of Art and a BA in Museum Studies from Brown University, and studied landscape painting at the Florence Academy of Art. While at Brown University, she prepared a catalogue of the Minassian Collection of Persian, Islamic, and Mughal miniature paintings. She is a specialist in artistic anatomy and has led courses at Ubisoft. She is hard at work on her next artistic and literary endeavours.
